Born and raised in Greenville, Glenn has over 30 years experience providing accounting and tax services to his clients. He began his professional career in the Montgomery office of Jackson Thornton, becoming a partner in 1988. In 1993, Glenn moved back to Greenville to open the firm’s Greenville office. In 2003 he formed Branum & Company, P.C. He is a recognized tax consultant and specializes in Person Financial Planning, Timber Industry, Small business, Individual, Estate and Business Tax services. In addition, he has extensive experience in audits of governmental and nonprofit organizations.
Glenn has obtained the personal financial planning specialist (PFS) credential from the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. The credential is granted to qualified CPA's with considerable experience in financial planning and the requirements include passing a comprehensive exam covering financial planning topics, along with demonstrating extensive business experience.
Glenn is actively involved in civic and community activities and he currently is on the Board of Trustees of Pioneer Electric Cooperative. He has also served as past president on the board of directors of the Greenville Area Chamber of Commerce, Goodwill Industries of Central Alabama, Butler County United Fund, Greenville Area YMCA, and Butler County Manufacturer’s Association.
Glenn is a graduate of Troy University. He holds professional membership in the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Alabama Society of Certified Public Accountants.
